As a reader, I love the classics, pretty much any genre. Crime & Punishment is a book I recommend everyone read at some point.

Being an independent author gives me a lot of freedom in regard to what I write, but it also means I have to wear every hat in the wardrobe. I’m the writer, editor, graphic designer, and marketer. That’s a lot of hats for one head, and I can’t say I look good in all of them. Marketing is an especially gaudy and uncomfortable hat but one you, the reader, can help me wear.

Word of mouth is perhaps the most powerful form of marketing, especially between friends. Recommending a book to a friend is hundreds of times more powerful and successful than any ad campaign I launch on Amazon.
