2021 Collection

Whenever I stop and look back, it’s usually with a bit of regret. I should have done that. I shouldn’t have done that. I think it’s our natural human tendency to see what we could have done rather than what we did do. This means our mistakes usually become more important than what we learned from them.
I’ve made my share of mistakes this year. There were times I should have fought a little harder and times I should have taken a step back. But, despite our best efforts, I think that will always be the case. We are bound to mess up every now and then, and we have to be okay with that. We can be okay with that because we can choose to walk away from our mistakes with a win. Rather than shake our heads and let regret nibble at our minds, we can choose to move forward. We can grow. I think that has been my theme for this year, hence the flower on the cover. I’ve come to realize that I am always going to have problems, but that those problems don’t define me—nor will they hinder me from living a full life.

2020 Collection

2020 will forever be a year to remember. We faced a global pandemic, extreme political division, and many other obstacles. But we made it, and hopefully, you (like me) will be able to learn a few things from the past. This collection ranges from July 24th to December 29th and contains each and every story and poem I wrote in between those dates. I hope you enjoy reading these glimpses into my life through 2020 as much as I enjoyed writing and now sharing them.
