Art
“If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.” —Vincent Van Gogh
While far from a trained artist, I’ve developed a passion for expression through the colors and lines we make, both on physical and digital canvases. I believe it both contrasts and strengthens the art of words, as there are images words cannot express and images that need words to explain. As I hone the art of writing, I hope to foster my interest in visual art as well.

This series of art came from a deep dive into depression, loneliness, and confusion. I chose a limited palette, colors I believe represent the emotions I was sorting through while creating. Most of these were short creations—bursts of emotion and creation, if you will. Each piece is strictly digital, with no sketch to guide it.
